Donations from local residents and businesses will assist us in
purchasing the equipment necessary for instruction and competition.
Your contribution toward our goal will be tax deductible. The Worcester
Rowing Club has applied under guidelines of US Rowing for the 501
(c) (3) status that all affiliate clubs have received. This status
will be retroactive as of our Incorporation in April of this year.
Goals:
Establish a competitive rowing program for Worcester County.
Provide instruction to all ages in the sport of rowing.
Facilitate programs for local High Schools.
Develop an adaptive program for handicapped athletes.
Host an annual regatta for the mid-Atlantic region.
Assist collegiate/student oarsmen by providing summer training facilities.
